{\noindent Dear Mr. Brown:}

Under separate cover, I am sending you the latest TEX-documented listings
of the PASCAL source files for TEX, as requested in your letter of September
22nd. The rest of your request is being passed along to the people who
prepare tapes for distribution.

I am sure that some questions will be raised as to the specific
files that might be useful to you. If you could supply a bit more
information as to your detailed plans it would be of help.

A major question relates to your font needs. We have rather complete
libraries of fonts for several different printers but the same fonts are
not necessarily available on all printers and new fonts are being
developed all the time. Most of our font information would be of little
value to you because of its device dependent nature.

Our fonts for the Canon might be useful, but since you are planning to get
an Imagen controller, it might be more appropiate for you to acquire your
Canon fonts from the Imagen people at the same time that you get your
controller.

You might be interested in joining the TEX Users Group (TUG), if you are
not already a member. Annual dues are $\$$15, payable with the application
for membership which should be addressed to the TEX Users Group,
American Mathematical Society, P.O. Box 1571, Annex Station, Providence,
RI 02901, U.S.A.
